We know you have done a lot already – you’ve prayed and you’ve donated toward Ukrainian refugee relief.  But as news continues to flow from Ukraine, you wish you could do more. Here’s another way you can offer practical help.

Problem. Let’s look at the situation. For the past couple of weeks there have been intensified attacks on Ukraine’s major cities, including the capital, Kyiv. Currently 40% of the electrical grid has been rendered unusable due to Russian attacks leaving over 1,000,000 people without electricity. That means no heat, no water and no lights. Winter has arrived in Ukraine and it’s already freezing, and will be for the next four months – a potential human tragedy especially for the elderly, the children, and the poor.

Solution. Cheri and I have Christian friends in Ukraine who are able to purchase and distribute warm blankets from a factory at a good price, $10 each. We recently sponsored 600 blankets and will buy 600 more this week. But many more people need warmth to survive the winter. We can’t help all, but we can help more.

Emergency. Over the past eight months, because of your partnership, we have been able to raise over $40,000 to help Ukrainian refugees with food, medicine and clothing and we will continue to do so. But right now we need your help buying as many blankets as possible. How many could you sponsor? Five? Ten? Fifty? As with our other relief ministry, 100% of your donation will go for purchasing blankets. Our help focuses on believers and those to whom they minister through their churches.How?
