Thank you for joining us in prayer for peace in Ukraine and God’s protection for our Ukrainian friends and co-ministers. We are in daily contact with many of them through FB messenger or email and sometimes through phone calls.
We also thank you for joining us in providing for their practical needs like food, water, medicine and gasoline. Together we’ve already been able to financially assist one church and six families.
Who are we helping?
Those who chose to stay in the war zone and help people. These are Christian heroes who we know personally. Mihail and Angelina in Kyiv are daily hunting for and buying food, water and medicine for the elderly and the infirm as well as sharing the gospel of Christ with them. Roman and Zoya in Irpin are gathering food from farms or bombed out stores and cooking 200 meals a day for refugees heading for the border, even though their own house was destroyed. It’s not an exaggeration to report that these heroes are continually exposing themselves to artillery fire and aerial bombing as they serve the Lord. Please pray for their safety.
Refugees who had to flee from Kyiv and other targeted cities with their families. They fled their homes, their ministries or their jobs, with what they could carry and crammed into a car or train and headed for the border. Many of these are also heroes. Pastor Andrei and family loaded their van with elderly church members, (not keepsakes or food stores), and took them to safety on the Romanian border. Pastor Sergei, wife Natasha and three boys crossed into Romania and immediately began ministering to other refugees by holding daily prayer meetings, sharing Christ and leading worship services.
During this unique time in history many more people are open to spiritual things. Almost daily we get reports from our friends about new converts.
Thank you again for partnering with us in our ministry to Ukrainian believers. 100% of your donations marked “Ukrainian Relief” will go directly to people in need whom we know. To contribute, just click the DONATE button. Although there are bank transfer fees involved in securely delivering funds directly to these people, we’re covering those expenses from gifts to the general fund.
Friends, pastors and faithful church members we know and love are okay thanks to your continuing partnership in prayer.
