Evangelistic English classes are an effective way to connect with the unchurched in Ukraine. Since Cheri’s teaching at the seminary gives her little contact with non-believers, she is volunteering her time at two different English language schools.

Every week one of her students will ask a question that leads to a conversation about her faith. For example, “Why did you want a Christian husband?” ‘Why did you give up a good life in America to come here?” “Why do you celebrate Thanksgiving?”

Please pray that Cheri can maintain and deepen her relationships with non-believers and that the Lord will grant her converts from these groups.
