“Transforming our world” (Mission-Net 2013)
What is Mission-Net? It’s both a bi-annual congress and a growing movement among Europe’s young Christians. Mission-Net is commissioned by the European Evangelical Missionary Association and European Evangelical Alliance. (Cheri and I have ministered with both of these organizations.)
A True Young People’s Movement,
Mission-Net is primarily for people aged between 16-30 who are willing to consider a Christian missional lifestyle which allies spiritual expressions of faith and strong, practical contributions to the society’s common good. The Mission-Net network currently extends to about 1.5 million young Christians across Europe. (See their website http://mission-net.org/congress)
Because of their relative isolation, our Ukrainian mission students have few opportunities to see the big picture of world missions or to interact with other mission-minded believers.
Fortunately, Mission-Net provides them an ideal opportunity to be inspired to cross-cultural service, to hear examples of current methods and to meet perspective ministry partners. I am encouraging some of our top mission students to attend Mission-Net this year. The congress will be held in Offenburg, Germany, and the students need your help with tuition and travel expenses.
Current needs:
• Tuition (after Eastern European discount): $ 160 each
• Round-trip travel from Ukraine to Offenburg, Germany: $350 each
• Students will pay for their local transportation and meals
• My goal is to raise at least $1,530 so we can help at least three of the students attend
• Deadline: We need to receive your donation by November 31st, 2013
If the Lord is prompting you to donate, please send your gift to:

Thank you,
