No More “Former Soviet Union”

We had to upgrade our motto (Training Christian Leaders in the Former Soviet Union) for three reasons.

  1. The Soviet Union fell 22 years ago and fewer people today remember it by that name.
  2. More and more we are limiting our ministry to training Eastern Europeans, especially in Ukraine.
  3. We needed to upgrade the web site’s software anyway, so it was the perfect time to improve the motto too.

Our new motto (Training Christian Leaders in Eastern Europe) better represents what we are doing. We are based in Kiev, Ukraine and still training tomorrow’s Eastern European missionaries, pastors and other spiritual leaders.

You may have noticed that we also redesigned our logo. The slanting shape (Not visible on the web site header) is meant to imply action. We are not just training ministers academically; we are urging them on to active service for the Lord.

Do you agree that “Former Soviet Union” is an old idea? What do you think about the new logo?I would enjoy reading your comments. Feel free to type a note in the comment box below.

Thanks,
