Answers to your prayers! After reviewing our prayer requests for the past six months, we want to report how God answered them.
Request: Pray for a resolution to Russia’s cut off the supply of heating-gas to Ukraine (January)
Answer: Though at a lower temperature than normal, the Lord brought us through the winter with heat
Request: Pray that our mail will arrive at the ENI office, in spite of the address change (February)
Answer: Although it took several months, the new office and bookkeeper are working wonderfully. By the way, the new address is:

Request: Pray that our “Missions Youth Rally” in the Ternopil region will bear lasting fruit. (February)
Answer: Of the 26 youth who attended, six indicated a desire to serve as cross-cultural ministers.

Request: Pray for a good attendance for our new course, Introduction to Islam (March)
Answer: The course was attended by 18 people, including 1 Uzbek, 1 Kazakh, and 1 Iranian who provided first-hand illustration of the facts about Muslim culture and religion.
Request: Pray that our monthly financial shortage, (usually made up by means of extra gifts which have diminished considerably due to the financial crisis) will be covered. (March)
Answer: God has provided to date.
Request: Pray that God will use our opportunity to teach English to Muslim students studying in Kiev (using a magic presentation), and to interact with students at a spiritual level. (March)
Answer:  We were able to talk about God’s love and His forgiveness with 24 students.  We were invited back and have continuing contact with some of them.
Request: Pray for safety and peace in Moldova, a country where we often teach.  It’s undergoing a revolution for freedom and justice. (April)
Answer:  Peace has been re-established and none of our people were harmed.  
Request: Pray for the meeting at our apartment.  Muslim-background believers (friends from Iran and Kazakhstan) will advise some Ukrainian friends how to tactfully share their faith with Muslims living in Ukraine. (May)
Answer: We had a great time of questions and answers, including some very moving testimonies followed by group prayer.
